A special overnight tour created for “green thumbs” and wine lovers!

Day 1    

The tour begins with pick up in Halifax followed by a scenic drive to Nova Scotia wine country – the Annapolis Valley. Enjoy a guided tour at Nova Scotia’s oldest winery Domaine de Grand Pre followed by a private tasting. Dine in style with a two-course gourmet lunch at Le Caveau restaurant situated on site at the winery overlooking the tides of the Minas Basin. Next, tour the vineyard at one of Nova Scotia’s newest wineries, Muir Murray Estate Winery and taste some of their award-winning wines.

Afterwards, immerse yourself in blooms as you have a guided tour through Harriet Irving Botanical Gardens at Acadia University. Then, enjoy the scenery of the Annapolis Valley as the tour makes its way to Nova Scotia’s oldest settlement, Annapolis Royal where you’ll check into a historic bed and breakfast in the heart of the town.  Relax at dinner and then the evening is free to explore the town. Day 2    

The day begins with a late morning visit to the Annapolis Royal Historic Gardens followed by a light lunch at the onsite café. Afterward, you’ll tour the wineries near the town of Bear River – the newly established Annapolis Highland Vineyards and the green energy fueled Bear River Vineyards.  Then, it’s back to Grand Pre where you can stroll through the Tangled Garden and then sample delicious jams, jellies and liqueurs all made from the garden’s ample supply of herbs, fruits and vegetables.  The tour concludes with a late afternoon drop off in Halifax.
